Nantucket Atheneum Dance Festival
Nantucket Atheneum Dance Festival
The Nantucket Atheneum Dance Festival features the best of the dance world and will be held from July 26-31st. Artistic Director Benjamin Millepied has also gathered together an outstanding company of world class dancers from the New York City Ballet (NYCB) and American Ballet Theatre (ABT).

In its third year, the Nantucket Atheneum Dance Festival will feature compelling classical and contemporary dance including works of legendary choreographer Jerome Robbins and 37-year old British sensation Christopher Wheeldon.

The Town of Nantucket is a 50 square mile island located in Nantucket Sound waters and was founded in 1671.

Those who visit should do excellent preparing so they will make it on time for the different festivals that occur each month during the summer and all year round. The Daffodil Festival takes place in April. In May there is a Wine Festival followed by the Film Festival that occurs in June. During the month of August the Sand Castle & Sculpture Day takes place.

All of these festivals are fun for children and/ or adults. All year round the community has something for everyone in Nantucket. Come join us for some fun!
